Goal 3: Good health and well-being
Branching from the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) which placed focus on reducing child mortality, improving maternal health and tackling HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria and other diseases, Goal 3 of the 2030 agenda addresses all major health priorities, including reproductive, maternal and child health; communicable, non-communicable and environmental diseases; universal health coverage; and access to safe, effective, quality and affordable medicines and vaccines. Occurrence of disease impacts the overall well-being of an individual, burdens family and public resources, weakens societies. Goal 3 aims to address the various emerging health issues of the ever-changing world. The Goal has 13 targets to measure the healthy lives and promoting well-being for all. A total of 50 indicators have been identified in State Indicator Framework to measure and monitor the progress of these targets.

- Maternal Mortality Ratio (1,00,000 live births) of State is 87 as per SRS in 2022-24.
- 1.3% of women and 0.9% of men in Rajasthan are asthmatic as per NFHS-5 in 2019-21.
- Mortality rate attributed to unintentional poisoning per 1 lakh population is 1.45 as per NCRB in 2024.
- Life Expectancy at birth; Total – 70.9, Male – 68.3 and Female – 73.8 years as per RGI in 2020-24.
- People killed in road accidents is 14.35 per 1,00,000 population and injured is 27.90 in 2024 as per NCRB.
- Under Five Mortality rate is 34 per thousand live birth in 2024 as per SRS Bulletin.
- Crude Birth Rate (CBR) is 22.8 and Crude Death Rate (CDR) is 5.8 in 2024 as per SRS Bulletin, RGI.
- Suicide Mortality Rate per 1,00,000 population is 6.7 in 2024 as per NCRB.
- Total TB Incidence Rate is 204 per 1,00,000 population as per TB India Report 2023.
- Proportion of institutional birth (5 Year / 1 Year) is 94.1% as per NFHS-6 (2023-24).
