Goal 4: Quality education
The opportunity of receiving quality education is the foundation to improving people’s lives and sustainable development. The SDG 4 aims to ensure the completion of primary and secondary education by all boys and girls, and guarantee opportunities for equal access to quality technical and vocational education for everyone. It also aims to provide equal access to affordable vocational training, to eliminate gender and wealth disparities, and achieve universal access to a quality higher education. This goal has 10 targets to measure the inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities. A total of 29 indicators have been identified at State level to monitor the progress of these targets.

- Gross Enrolment Ratio in Higher Secondary education is 66.1 in 2024-25.
- Adjusted Net enrolment Ratio in primary education is 88.7%, upper primary education is 84.2%, and in Secondary 70.8 in 2024-25.
- Gender Parity indices at primary level is 1.0, Secondary is 1.0 in 2024-25.
